“Brainrot”

“Brain Rot” is a self-portrait of what it feels like to waste your mind in silence.
It’s about the slow decay that happens when we numb ourselves with constant scrolling—when we consume so much that we forget to create, to think, to feel.
The cracked screen, the maggots, the empty eyes… they’re not just for shock.
They’re symbols of overstimulation, of mental neglect, of dreams left to rot while we chase dopamine.
I made this to face the version of myself I didn’t want to carry into the next chapter.
Because I have big visions for this year—and I can’t afford to lose myself in the process.
This piece is a warning.
But it’s also a release.
